The Two Sisters
Ady and Shan are the granddaughters of Mackie Wright, the upright bass player for Freddie Shaffer and The Victory Sweethearts, an all-girls WW2 era traveling band from the 1940′s. They blame their wanderlust traveling tendencies and music obsession on their late grandmother (she’d be proud), and channel these addictions into the entity that has evolved into Two Sisters and a Show. They hit the road for some good music whenever they can.
The Show
As the sisters meet up and travel together Ady totes her camera and Shan lugs her sketchbook and art box. Most often they meet up for live music in, around or somewhere between Cleveland and Philadelphia via the PHL/CLE Express. Other times they wander further, and sometimes shows are attended with other members of the extended Two Sisters posse. Food and drink are sought out, towns are explored, and merrymaking occurs at the show. Upon returning to “the real world” the resulting photos, video and reports from the road during their nomadic episodes are then shared here.

Shan (CLE-based) is a freelance designer, writer and artist, and creator of imaginary superhero costumes. She draws all over things when she can get away with it, and is obsessed with cilantro and the slickrock canyons of Utah. She covets her Faber-Castell India ink pens (sometimes too much) and is author of the collaborative project blog Mental Beans! She cooks to music almost every day, and her alter ego is the culinary villain known as The Overbaker.
Ady (PHL-based) is the younger sister of Shan. When not working her “real” job she can be found behind the lens at a show. Her favorite color is green (funny because it is ironically the same color as cilantro), and she is stealthily building her camera lens arsenal. She has been known to duck into coffee shop restrooms, emerging as the pastry-baking super hero, Super Sweets, or as theĀ rocktography superhero yet to be named.
